The Hawaii State Department of Health Cannabis Registry Program posted the latest patient growth numbers for March 2018.

  • In March, patient numbers grew by only 351 new patients, from 20,518 to 20,869 at the end of the month.
  • In April, patient numbers grew by only 135 new patients, from 20,869 to 21,004 at the end of the month.
  • O‘ahu has the majority of patients at 37%. Hawai‘i has 32%. Maui has 23%. With no operational dispensaries, Kaua‘i has only 8% of the total number of patients in the state.
