The Hawaii State Department of Health Marijuana Registry Program today posted the latest patient growth numbers for March, as well as the first-quarter statistics for 2017, and a notice to patients on how to be a “Good Neighbor”.
- Patient numbers grew by 567 new patients in March 2017: From 15,708 to 16,275 at the end of the month. Additional breakdowns of patient numbers by county, age, gender, and condition can be found here.
- A new edition of DOH’s periodic newsletter regarding the medical marijuana program will be available to the public on April 12, 2017. This edition will address the “Petition Process to Add New Conditions, Registry Tips, and Program Reminders”.
- A new petition process to add qualifying conditions to the list of accepted medical marijuana uses in Hawaii. Petitions are due June 16, 2017.
- DOH also posted a flyer with useful advice for patients regarding when and where medical use of marijuana is available.
