Today DOH announced that Maui Grown Therapies officially passed its final retail inspection and is clear to open. Maui Grown Therapies issued its own press release to commemorate the day. The first sales will be transacted today, August 8th, and the dispensary will remain open this week for a short “soft opening week” for patients who have already completed the pre-intake process.

On Monday, August 14, 2017, Maui Grown Therapies will begin full operation, open to all medical cannabis patients registered in the State of Hawaii.

Regular operating hours: Monday – Saturday, 10 AM – 7 PM.

Address: 44 Paʻa Street in the Maui Lani Village Center in Kahului.

Maui Grown Therapies will open with a limited selection of dried cannabis flower, including Royal Hawaiian, a strain with 14.2 percent THC and 0.0 percent CBD. The Department of Health has not yet certified a laboratory to test manufactured products.

With the certification of the first testing laboratory, two other dispensaries should open soon as well. Both Aloha Green on Oahu and Pono Life Sciences Maui on Maui have signaled to DOH that they are either ready or nearly ready for their final retail inspections as well. We expect one or both of them will be open later this week.
