Trim Ready, a cannabis industry professional service providing career education for employers and job seekers, is offering two courses the weekend of October 28 and 29.
Infuse Your Own Edibles: CBD Hemp Cooking Class is Hawai‘i’s first interactive cannabis cooking class. This culinary adventure will cover several methods of infusing cannabis into food and some of the finer points of dosing edibles. Learn how to make delicious meals that can be infused with medical cannabis or even legal CBD hemp with canna-techniques including: correctly breaking down cannabis oil, decarboxylation, butter versus oil, storing infusions, and making cannabis calculations in the kitchen. In addition to hands-on cooking, participants will receive take-home recipes, and safe-dosing handouts.
The Cannabis Dispensary Certification Course covers all aspects of cannabis job training from seed to sale. Students who graduate should have all the skills needed to work in a vertically integrated medical marijuana facility in Hawai‘i, whether it be a retail dispensary, grow, or manufacturing facility. Participants will learn about the current medical cannabis program and be educated on security, cultivation, production, and dispensaries. The previous course sold out in advance and included a visit from dispensary representatives looking to hire staff, so register now.
